Christopher Malone has nearly 3 decades of experience in higher education and public service. In September 2021, Malone was appointed Associate Provost at Farmingdale State College, SUNY. From 2018-2021, Malone served as Founding Dean of the newly created School of Arts and Sciences at Molloy University. From 2015 to 2018, he served as Associate Dean of the School of Natural and Social Sciences at Lehman College, CUNY.

Dr. Christopher LaBarbera is currently Assistant Provost at SUNY Farmingdale State College. In this role, Dr. LaBarbera supports the College's academic initiatives and oversees Distance Learning, the Faculty Center, the NEXUS Center for Career Development and Applied Learning, as well as the area of Microcredentials. Prior to this position, Dr. LaBarbera served as the Assistant Provost and Dean of the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences at MassBay Community College for ten years.
