Paul DiBeneditto

 Electric Vehicle Program Manager (CEM) - PSEG-LI


Paul DiBenedetto is the Electric Vehicle Program Manager at PSEG Long Island. His background is in General Engineering with a focus on Alternative Energy & Power Generation, and a minor in Energy Engineering which he received at Penn State University in 2016. He is a certified energy manager (CEM) which he received from AEE, and is pursuing an MBA in Innovation at Stony Brook University.

Paul has been with PSEG Long Island for over 8 years, starting in the Power Markets group to determine the impact utility-scale generation and renewables would have on the power supply charge. He later on went to Energy Efficiency where he worked on Non-Wire Alternatives and lead the Utility 2.0 Filing to assist with the proposal of innovative initiatives such as public charging stations, smart electric panels, and increasing hosting capacity. Eventually, Paul took over the Transportation Electrification team where he currently manages over five programs including EV Make Ready, Fleet Make Ready, DCFC Incentive, Residential Charger Rebate, and Fleet Advisory Services.

Joy Gardner

Executive Director - Empire Clean Cities


Joy is the Executive Director of Empire Clean Cities, as well as the U.S. Department of Energy's Clean Cities Coalition Coordinator for New York City and the Lower Hudson Valley. She holds a Master's degree in Nonprofit Management from the New School for Public Engagement and has over 10 years experience working for a variety of social impact campaigns and organizations. Joy has worked with public and private stakeholders to help cut greenhouse gas emissions, reduce petroleum consumption, and advance clean transportation in the region.

Jacob Kraniak 

Security Systems Engineer - Kintetsu World Express USA


Jacob Kraniak is a Security Systems Engineer at Kintetsu World Express USA with a 10-year background in Information Technology and Security. He is currently a student at Farmingdale State College, pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Computer Security Technology.

Jacob is the owner and operator of the EV education Social Media platform "Long Island EVs," which can be found on YouTube, X, Instagram, and Facebook. He is also a regular volunteer and speaker with Drive Electric Long Island, where he passionately advocates for electrification and sustainability.  Jacob will be presenting the EV 101 breakout sessions. 

As an EV owner, Jacob has been driving plug-in vehicles for the past 5 years.

Jacob has been happily married since 2018 and currently resides in Ronkonkoma, NY.

Adam Lomasney

Program Manager - Clean Transportation at the New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NYSERDA)


As NYSERDA's Clean Transportation Program Manager, Adam oversees a portfolio of New York State incentive programs and initiatives that directly support decarbonization of the transportation sector and the State’s climate action goals.

Before joining NYSERDA, Adam was Director of Aviation & Freight at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), where he served as the City’s lease administrator for LaGuardia and John F. Kennedy International Airports in addition to overseeing citywide planning efforts for improving key freight transportation infrastructure. Adam also worked for the City of Chicago and in the automotive manufacturing industry.

Adam earned his MPA from DePaul University, Chicago and BA from Albion College, Michigan.

Rosemary Mascali

Chair - Drive Electric Long Island Education & Outreach Subcommittee


Rosemary Mascali is an avid advocate for sustainable transportation. As Co-Chair of the USGBC-LI Sustainable Transportation Committee, she educates USGBC-LI members and the public on the impact of transportation on the environment and best practices for sustainable transportation, in order to improve Long Island’s air quality, reduce greenhouse emissions and increase mobility options. She also chairs the Education and Outreach Committee of Drive Electric Long Island, whose mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles on Long Island.
