World Class Seminar in Ghana

FSC is pleased to offer a Faculty Led Course in Ghana
(projected dates: December 19, 2025 - January 4, 2026)

Join Prof. Kwame Insaidoo Jr. (Office of EOP and Dept. of History, Geography, and Politics) on a transformative, short-term seminar in southern Ghana, December 2025 - January 2026. Based in the capital city of Accra, the seminar is designed to provide advanced undergraduate and graduate students with a holistic understanding of Ghana’s history, politics, society, and culture while fostering global perspectives and cross-cultural collaboration.

You will explore the public areas, monuments, and museums in Accra with excursions to the Elmina and Cape Coast Castles, Kakum National Park, and other locations, such as outdoor markets and craft workshops. This is a comprehensive initiative designed to provide students with an unparalleled opportunity for academic enrichment, cultural immersion, and personal growth.

The cost of the program (tuition, housing, excursions, and insurance) is being determined, but will be no more than $2500.

Open to students from any SUNY institution.
