Colorful cityscape of Cyprus

Nicosia, Cyprus

Study a wide array of courses for a semester or during the summer on one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean!

Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, is a bustling city with a centuries-old past. In fact, according to Greek mythology Aphrodite was born off the shore of Cyprus. Given its position in the northeastern Mediterranean, Cyprus is a multi-cultural country that was once part of the Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman empires. Today, the main ethnicities are Cypriot Greek and Turkish. It is one of the sunniest countries in Europe, with over 300 days of sunshine each year, and has 20% of Europe's top beaches. Cyprus is ranked by the World Health Organization as the safest country in the world for 15-29 year olds and is very affordable.
