Throughout the month of May, we take the time to reflect and commemorate the significant role Asian American/Pacific Islanders have played in shaping our nations's history.  "Advancing Leaders through Innovation" honors the visionaries and trailblazers whose impact continues to shape our shared destiny.  AAPI leaders have contributed greatly to our Nation's economic prosperity, technological advancements, and social/political change through ingenuity and creativity while navigating significant cultural and systemic barriers. 

Asian Americans are often overlooked in terms of US history, however when exploring their lives and forms of art, they are an undeniable and essential part of the nation's story. Take a look at how Asian American artists have interpreted pivotal events over the past 100 years.
