Camp Farmingdale: Where Memories Are Made

Summer is stupendous at Farmingdale State College's camp located in the state of the art Children's Center!

Activities, organized games and field trips make for a summer filled with fun, friendships and personal enrichment.

Your child, ages 5 - 8 (must have completed Kindergarten) will enjoy a fully air conditioned indoor space, complete with an indoor gym that boasts a big screen with surround sound for those inclement weather days. Outdoor areas include their own separate play area with climbing structures, basketball and volleyball courts.  Additionally, the college campus offers a variety of other spaces to kick a ball or visit the gardens.  Outdoor water play is available daily.

Each week includes a special trip to some great places on Long Island.  Previous trips have included charter fishing, Adventureland, K'Zam, Cantiague Water Park, and the Atlantis Aquarium.

Our weekly themes bring our days to life as we explore such topics as science, sports and the world around us.

Our camp director is an experienced teacher who has many years of experience with this age group.  Many of our counselors have worked in our program in the past and are loved by our returning campers. 

Your child will be cared for as they enjoy making new friends and exploring what the best of Long Island has to offer.

We are currently taking a poll to see how many families of school aged children would be interested in joining our School Age Summer Camp Program.  This program is for Kindergarten graduates through 5th grade.  It will run for 6 weeks, from 7/3/23 - 8/11/23.  There will be an in-house event, and out of house event, and water play each week.  If you or anyone you know would be interested in this program, please contact us at (934) 420-2125.  Thank you!
