Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society

One of the highest honors a Farmingdale student can receive is an invitation to Phi Theta Kappa, an International Honor Society. Mu Omega is the local Farmingdale chapter. 

How to Determine if you Qualify for Membership:

• Are you currently enrolled in a associate or bachelor degree program at Farmingdale?
• Do you have a GPA of 3.5 or higher?
• Have you earned 12 credits or more at Farmingdale?
• If you are in a bachelor degree program, have you earned no more than 42 credits or less?

If you answered yes to all the questions above, then you are eligible for Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and all of the lifetime Membership Benefits.

• Phi Theta Kappa Presents: Easter Toy Drive: Toys/Stuffed Toy Donations being accepted.
  Phi Theta Kappa is looking to collect toy donations through Friday 4/18/2025 to give to a local Salvation Army location or other local charity giving toys to in need children to bring smiles to their faces this holiday.

  • Students must have accepted their invite no later than March 1st, 2025
