Academic Advisement is essential for your success at Farmingdale. We want you to take full advantage of the wide range of courses and academic programs - as well as the support services - available at the College. We also want you to stay on track and graduate on time. So, before you select and register for courses, contact and meet with your assigned academic adviser or advising department.

Advisement & Registration (for AAIC-advised students)
Advisement, registration, and SOAR appointments are only for the students that the AAIC advises, based on your major and total amount of credits (earned + in progress). AAIC-advised students can also use the Continuing Students link if they have questions about Change of Major, Withdrawal, or General (non course-advisement) questions. To determine whether you should schedule an appointment with the AAIC or with your department, please use the Advisement Tool.
Services for All Students
Students can set up appointments for the services below, even if the AAIC is not their advising department. Students advised by the AAIC interested in Change of Major, Withdrawal, or General (non-advisement) Questions should schedule appointments within their major through the Continuing Students link above.
