THEDREAM.US Scholarship
THEDREAM.US Scholarship is the nation’s largest scholarship program for undocumented immigrant youth. Founded in 2013, it has provided college scholarships to over 7,500 immigrant youth. In 2021, THEDREAM.US partnered with Farmingdale State College to provide its undocumented students’ the opportunity to attend college. This partnership is consistent with Farmingdale State College’s long-standing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
THEDREAM.US has two types of Scholarships. One for high school or GED graduates and another one for community college graduates.
Students who are interested in attending Farmingdale State College can apply for THEDREAM.US scholarship to help pay for their tuition and fees.

Sillcox
Sillcox Scholars are a prestigious group of scholars selected beginning their senior year of high school and sponsored by the Tortora Sillcox Family Foundation. The mission of the Tortora Sillcox Family Foundation is to contribute to the steadily growing number of young people in New York City who overcome socioeconomic barriers to graduate from public high school - and then from college - prepared for meaningful employment and robust civic participation. Increasingly our economy and society are knowledge-based.

S-STEM
Farmingdale State College is offering 16 S-STEM Scholarships to academically talented, low income students who will begin their studies at FSC in Fall 2021 and who will major in Bioscience or Applied Mathematics. The overall goal of this prestigious FSC Scholarship, awarded by the US National Science Foundation, is to assure that more low-income, high-achieving students with demonstrated financial need are able to focus on their studies and graduate with BS Degrees in Bioscience or Mathematics in four years.
- Be a U.S. citizens or permanent residents
- Be a first-time freshman
- Be accepted into the Applied Mathematics or Bioscience major at Farmingdale State College
- Have a strong academic record in high school
- Have demonstrated financial need as determined by the financial aid office
- Individuals from groups underrepresented in STEM (including those who identify as African American/African-descent/Black, Hispanic/Latino/Latina, Pacific Islander, Native Hawaiian, or Native Alaskan, and/or first-generation students) are encouraged to apply
- Students from Long Island and New York City High Schools are eligible to apply
Requirements for continued participation in the program will include:
- Remain a Biology or Applied Math major at Farmingdale State College
- Full-time student status
- Maintain a GPA of 3.0
- Satisfactory academic progress in chosen major

Fulbright
The RAM Program supported its scholars in applying to two programs: (1) the Fulbright Canada Mitacs Globalink Program, and (2) the Fulbright U.S. Student Program.
Fulbright Canada Mitacs Globalink Program
The Fulbright Canada Mitacs Globalink Program is specifically for US students interested in conducting advanced research projects at a Canadian university for 10 to 12 weeks during their summer break . This prestigious program provides students with the opportunity to engage in professional training as well as cultural, social, and recreational experiences.
Fulbright U.S. Student Program
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program expands perspectives through academic and professional advancement and cross-cultural dialogue. Fulbright creates connections in a complex and changing world. In partnership with more than 140 countries worldwide, the Fulbright U.S. Student Program offers unparalleled opportunities in all academic disciplines to passionate and accomplished graduating college seniors, graduate students, and young professionals from all backgrounds. Program participants pursue graduate study, conduct research, or teach English abroad.
