Esteemed Academic Experts Join All Four Schools
This Fall, Farmingdale State College (FSC) is pleased to welcome 26 new faculty to the FSC family, including 20 assistant professors and six lecturers. The faculty additions will span an array of disciplines across FSC’s School of Business, School of Health Sciences, School of Engineering Technology and School of Arts and Sciences.
FSC has increased its fulltime faculty 25 percent since 2016 and currently has a 20:1 student-to-faculty ratio. A New Faculty Orientation event was recently held in Greenly Library.
“Each of our 26 new faculty brings a wealth of knowledge and experience that will impact learning across our diverse program offerings,” said Laura Joseph, EdD, senior vice president and provost of FSC. “These faculty are an impressive group of scholar-teachers whose contributions will further the success of the institution.”
