Farmingdale State College and TheDream.Us, the nation's largest college access and success program for immigrant youth, announced a new partnership in November, 2021 to implement scholarships for New York immigrant youth to accomplish their higher education dreams. Moreover, this new partnership holds renowned distinction because Farmingdale is the first Dream.US Partner College on Long Island and first institution within the State University of New York (SUNY) system. This newly celebrated partnership remains steadfast with SUNY's and Farmingdale State College's long-standing commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion and to preserving high quality opportunity programs. As part of this agreement, the college has pledged to recruiting and serving at least ten Dreamers each year. All undocumented students who meet the eligibility criteria who are first-time college students or community college graduates, interested in applying to Farmingdale State College are encouraged and welcome to apply for this wonderful scholarship opportunity. The award covers tuition, fees, books, and supplies of up to $37,000.00 for first-time college students and $31,000.00 for community college graduates.
