Ram-bo Family History
Rambo has a long family history here at Farmingdale State College. Because the College began as a school of Agriculture, there were many farm animals on hand from which to choose a mascot. An early photo shows a dog with the football team, but soon the campus came to realize that the mighty Ram was the best choice.
This early image of Ram-bo's grandfather
shows him to be a rough character.
Ram-bo's family photo album contains many entries that prove the Ram
was always a beloved mascot at Farmingdale.
There are usually cheerleaders around whenever a Ram was present.
This photo of Ram-bo with his father shows
that he comes from a long line of fine looking Rams.
