Maple Installation

Farmingdale State College, through SUNY, has licensed Maple Software from Maplesoft and has made it available to all staff and currently registered students of the college free of charge.


Installation Requirements and Notes

  • You will be installing the 2022, 2023 or 2024 version of the software

  • Once you download, you’ll need to install the software to your machine

  • There are various versions of Maple to install... Windows 64 bit, Linux & Mac.

Installation Instructions

When you click on the Maplesoft download link, you will see the following.

You will need to enter one of the purchase codes below and click “submit”.

To download the Maplesoft software, click on the link of the Maple version.  You will then be prompted for the platform you are using.  Once you pick your platform, Maple will download and once finished downloading, run the installation steps.

Once installed, you will need to activate Maple.  You will be prompted for the Purchase Code again along with your name, email address and institution.

When the activation is successful, you will be allowed into the application.  When starting Maple for the first time, you will see a pop-up like the one below telling you that the software will expire in 199 days.

This is expected.  Click “OK” and you’ll be free to use the software.
