About Dr. Wenhai Li

Dr. Wenhai Li is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology at Farmingdale State College. His research focuses on Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) & Heat Transfer, High-Speed Flow & Combustion, Rarefied Gas Dynamics, Compact Heat Exchanger Design, Thermal System Design & Optimization, AI/ML in Automation Design, and Cloud & High-Performance Computing. With extensive experience in both academia and industry, he previously worked as a research engineer developing commercial software for thermal engineering and fluid dynamics analysis. At Farmingdale State College, he is actively involved in teaching, research, and mentoring students, with a strong emphasis on bridging theoretical knowledge with real-world engineering applications.
