Mihaela Radu

Dr. Mihaela Radu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca and a M. Eng. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She is currently a Full Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology Department at SUNY-Farmingdale State College.
Her teaching area focuses on digital and electrical circuits, and reliability and testing of digital systems Her current research interests includes fault tolerance and reliability of electronic systems, and new educational methods emphasizing active learning techniques.
Over the past twenty years, Dr. Mihaela Radu taught several courses on digital and analog electronics with a strong emphasis on “hands-on” experience, using novel educational technologies.  She presented the results of using these novel educational technologies at the ASEE national conference and published in ASEE Computers in Education Journal.
