Kimberly Cardaci Macario has been a registered nurse for over 20 years, who specialized in trauma and emergency nursing for both adults and pediatrics. She developed a passion for education early in her career and earned a Masters in Nursing Education in 2010. At that time, she transitioned from clinical education within the hospital, into academia. She has been teaching here at Farmingdale as an Assistant Professor and instructor since 2016 and earned a Doctorate in Nursing Education in 2019.  Research interests include caring in nursing education, generational differences, and online learning.
