Heating Plant

The Heating Plant is responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining high-pressure steam boilers and equipment that produce heat and hot water throughout the campus. 

• The Heating Plant crew regularly checks and maintains mechanical rooms and campus building equipment.
• The Heating Plant is staffed 24/7, 365 days a year, monitoring and adjusting the Building Management System (BMS) as necessary.
• The Heating Plant responds to emergency calls and elevator-related issues off hours, weekends, and holidays.
