On April 22, 2025—Earth Day—the Office of Community and Civic Engagement (OCCE), in
partnership with the Food Pantry and the Office of Sustainability, will host the 3rd
annual Day of Service. April is National Volunteer Month and this year OCCE is building
on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), this year’s event highlights
SDG 2: Zero Hunger, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, and SDG 17: Partnerships
for the Goals. By bringing together campus and community partners, we aim to address
food insecurity, promote sustainable practices, and foster meaningful collaborations
