GIS Will Make You Scream! An Interdepartmental Collaboration to Map Italian Horror.
The collaborative efforts of Drs. John Gross and Vincenzo Selleri, demonstrate the unique ways that Geographic Information Systems can be used to support and inform the humanities, and other disciplines. Their interactive web map of Italian horror movies is being used as a pedagogical tool in the teaching of Italian Cinema. This presentation hopes to inspire the growth of digital humanities and interdepartmental collaboration at FSC. Come see how GIS techniques can be used to bring data in your field to “life”. Meet us in the World of Italian Horror!
