Study Abroad Presents: A World Class Interview with Prof. Brian O'Keefe

Prof. Brian O'Keefe (VisComm) will discuss World Class, his interdisciplinary project in Scotland. Are YOU interested in joining World Class in Summer 2025?

Since 2017, Brian O'Keefe and Tom Flint (Edinburgh Napier University) have built a highly successful, multi-disciplinary project, World Class. World Class combines study abroad experiences, online interaction in the context of FSC and ENU courses, and research. Each summer groups of FSC and ENU students participate together in an internship that alternates between Edinburgh and New York. To date, more than 100 students have participated. 

In summer 2025, prof. O'Keefe will lead the two-week World Class Internship in Edinburgh, August 2-16. The project with include investigating the role of augmented and virtual reality during the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Students from all majors are welcome to join and enhance the experience.
