Crochet for Charity 102: Double Crochet

Crochet for Charity 102: Double Crochet

In this workshop, you will receive a refresher on the basic tools and steps to getting started with crochet and you will learn the double crochet stitch. By the end of this session, you will be able to create a slipknot, foundation chain, and single crochet stitches. We’ll send you home with the tools you’ll need to create a 7”x 9” double crochet rectangle which you can bring to our Crochet for Charity 103: Crochet Finishing Touches session to complete and donate. Donated rectangles will be assembled into blankets and donated. Can’t make it to our final session? No worries! There will be a drop box in the library where you can leave your completed double crochet rectangles, hook, and stitch markers.. NOTE: This session is recommended for participants who have either attended Crochet for Charity 101 OR participants who already know how to create a slipknot, chain, and single crochet stitches.
