Each Grant Award Recipient submitted unparalleled proposals to facilitate various DEI initiatives aimed at enhancing a more inclusive and equitable campus culture. As of last year, the Office of DEI and the Executive Board introduced a new initiative to highlight students on campus who are doing the everyday work of DEI-not for the recognition but because they believe in making a difference both on and off campus. - Aliyah Khan, Founder of NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
- Damari Machado, Applied Psychology, Coordinator of Peer Programming/RAM Kick Off.
- Jairo Orozco, Newman Civic Fellow, RAMS on The Rise program, SGA President.
- Julia Seitz, Digital Student Storyteller for Marketing & Communications, Lead Peer Tutor in the Writing Center, VP of the Women in Business Club.
- Maria Naeem, dedicated member of the RAM Program, Honors Scholar, Advocate for the inclusion of underrepresented voices.
