Pleas join the Department of Modern Languages & the Office of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusive Excellence to explore the vibrant culture & creative projects of local artists in celebration of Native American Heritage Month. Learn more about  Indigenous experiences, traditions, and ancestral and contemporary knowledge. 

  • Do you identify as Native American or indigenous, or has indigenous culture played an important role in your life?
  • Would you be interested in sharing about your experience for FSC’s celebration of Native American heritage?
  • For this year’s celebration, we want YOU to be involved! We are reaching out to Farmingdale students and broader members of the FSC community to share about their relationship with indigenous culture. If you are interested or know someone who may be, complete this Proposal Form. 

Presenters:

  • Jeremy Dennis, is a contemporary fine art photographer and a tribal member of the Shinnecock Indian Nation in Southampton, NY. In his work, he explores indigenous identity, assimilation.: Shinnecock Portrait Project.
