Crochet for Charity 101: The Basics

Crochet for Charity 101: The Basics

New to crochet? You’re in the right place! In this workshop, you will learn the basic tools and steps to getting started with crochet. By the end of this session, you will be able to create a slipknot, foundation chain, and single crochet stitches. We’ll send you home with the tools you’ll need to create a 7”x 9” single crochet rectangle which you can bring to our Crochet for Charity 103: Crochet Finishing Touches session to complete and donate. Donated rectangles will be assembled into blankets and donated. Can’t make it to our final session? No worries! There will be a drop box in the library where you can leave your completed single crochet rectangles, hook, and stitch markers.
