Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) - DIY Environmentally Friendly Cleaning Products

The Long Island Sustainability Series (LIS2) is an educational series hosted by Farmingdale State College (FSC) in partnership with Suffolk Community College (SCCC). The series is focused on pollution prevention (P2) and how Long Island residents can reduce their environmental impact. It is a mixture of lecture-style presentations by local experts and activity-based events, such as beach clean-ups and DIY green cleaning products.

The fifth event of the series will focus on toxins in cleaning products and how you can create your own "green" cleaning supplies right at home. The event will be led by FSC campus Sustainability Manager, Maia Roseval.
