From Myth To Man: Martin Luther King, An Interpretation

An Original One-Man Play

As we embrace "African Americans and the Arts" in commemoration of their lasting contributions in shaping the cultural landscape with creativity and resilience, please join FSC in welcoming Ira Knight, playwright, producer, director, author and publisher.

A breathtaking performance that transforms the American civil rights and international human rights leader from mythical icon to authentic human being. From Myth to Man is an enlightening, thoughtful, and engaging presentation. An original and thought-provoking interpretation of the many complex human sides of Martin Luther King, Jr.

This is not an impersonation, imitation or mimicking of Dr. King, but an inspiring presentation of him as an authentic
human being — father, husband and friend. Experience the connection of all generations to the humanity, legacy and mission of the civil and human rights leader. A presentation that Dr. King, himself, would respect.

All members of the Farmingdale State College campus community are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Light refreshments will be served.
