Breast Cancer Walk Volunteer

The RAM Program is once again partnering with the American Cancer Society for their annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Jones Beach! This is a great opportunity to not only volunteer, but to also obtain 4 hours towards your Applied Learning credits, which is a requirement for graduation. Student Volunteers will be asked to do various tasks, such as encouraging walkers, assisting at sign-in tables, and handing out refreshments to participants. This is a great way to get involved, give back to the community, and assist in a noble cause to fight against Breast Cancer.

Making Strides Against Breast Cancer isn't just a walk. It's a movement to end breast cancer. When you sign up, you join thousands of people just like you who want to see a world where this disease doesn't exist. You'll walk, you'll fundraise, you'll make lifelong friends. Most of all, you'll help save lives from breast cancer - and help us work toward a future without it. We can't do this without YOU!

The event is taking place on Sunday, October 15, 2023, from 6am to 10am at Jones Beach, Field 5. To sign up, please visit the link provided below and make sure to complete all required documents in order to participate.
