Join your fellow students, faculty, and staff as we host a week-long celebration in honor of all FSC First - Generation college students! 

Kick-Off Event

• Monday, November 7th
• 11am - 1pm, Campus Center Ballroom

Calling all “First-Geners!” Join us for an interactive, lively celebration with food, music, and activities as we cheer on our First-Generation students! Students, faculty, or staff, if you are First - Generation come be proud, and show your pride!

“A Walk in My Shoes” – Movie Night

• Tuesday, November 8th
• 5pm - 7pm, Campus Center Ballroom

A night at the FSC theater! Come to enjoy this showing of “A Walk in My Shoes,” which is the journey of First-Generation students’ journey to success. A thought-provoking conversation afterwards. Share your triumphs and challenges, we’re waiting to be inspired! Appetizers, snacks, and drinks will be there to greet you! 

Networking Mixer: “Build your First Gen Fam”

• Wednesday, November 9th
• 11am - 12pm, Campus Center Ballroom

Networking leads to valuable connections, both socially, professionally, and personally. Reward yourself with 60 minutes of networking opportunity and give birth to a new sense of belonging! Light refreshments and fruitful conversation will be provided. Remember to indicate when you RSVP if you plan to participate in this event. 

“Surviving College” The Hip Hop Tik Tok Stage Play

• Thursday, November 10th
• 11am - 1pm, Campus Center Ballroom

Don’t miss a live dramatic presentation by the “Edu-tainment” duo of Bert and Det as FSC closes its week-long First - Gen Proud Celebration. This is a time to discuss your success through next steps!  Remember – every ending gives birth a to new beginning!
