New York State Mentorship Program - Virtual Info Session

VIRTUAL INFORMATION SESSION: New York State Mentorship Program (Paid Applied Learning Opportunities)  

The New York State Mentoring Program creates supportive Mentor relationships for students at risk of dropping out of school. This unique program takes place in a school-based setting, one-to-one between the mentor and mentee with a school coordinator present who is selected by the principal. The program provides background checks and training for volunteer mentors and mentees.

*This year’s program may offer virtual mentorship opportunities.

Stipend pay will be available for students who complete all participation requirements at the rate of $20 an hour.

• Complete the mentoring application on this website and notify FSC Supervisor Professor Email of your application.
• Attend the upcoming virtual info session on October 12 at 12 pm with the program directors via thIs Microsoft Teams link.
