Supporting Our FSC Community
To the Campus:
I hope your semester is off to a good start. It is such a pleasure having you all
back on campus.
In addition to the excitement that the beginning of the spring semester brings, we
are also experiencing changes being proposed by our new federal administration, including
a wave of executive orders, presidential actions, and policy changes. We recognize
that these events may raise questions about how they may impact you, our campus, and
the greater Farmingdale community.
We are carefully monitoring news and developments, working closely with SUNY and our
partners on federal, state, and local levels. Please know that as we have new information,
SUNY will make every effort to communicate quickly to any impacted parties. Students
can contact the Dean of Students office at dean.students@farmingdale.edu or 934-420-2104 with any questions, and faculty and staff can reach out to their
supervisor or division vice president.
The work of this College is unwavering, and we stand ready to do what we do best,
and that is to educate, learn, and discover. As we navigate these complex and changing
times, we remain committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive environment in which
students, faculty, and staff feel validated and supported. I encourage you to stay
focused and to support each other.
