Upcoming SUNY DEI Survey
Dear Colleagues:
As you know, Farmingdale State College is committed to providing a welcoming and inclusive
environment where all employees can be fully engaged and feel safe and respected.
To best ensure we are fulfilling this commitment, it is important that we periodically
assess our campus climate. To that end, SUNY has contracted with Viewfinder® Campus
Climate Surveys, LLC to administer a SUNY DEI Campus Climate Survey for employees.
The survey will be administered online from October 15 through November 22 and made
accessible for those who need accommodations. You will soon receive a survey invitation
via email, and your participation is voluntary and important. It will take about 15
minutes to complete.
The survey results will be used to identify strengths and opportunities related to
diversity, equity, and inclusion on our campus. Hearing from all members of our campus
community will allow us to reflect on our current practices and make efforts to improve
everyone’s experience. Your voice is important.
To ensure that your responses remain confidential, no personal identifying information
will be collected. You will be receiving an email directly from Viewfinder® Campus
Climate Surveys, LLC inviting you to participate in the survey.
We appreciate your time in supporting this important effort to advance our DEI goals
at FSC. If you have any questions, please contact FSC Vice President for Diversity,
Equity, and Inclusive Excellence and Chief Diversity Officer Kevin Jordan, EdD (jordankd@farmingdale.edu), or SUNY Senior Vice Chancellor for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion/Chief Diversity
Officer Ricardo Nazario-Colón, EdD (r.nazariocolon@suny.edu).
Thank you for your participation.
