The Faculty Center

The Faculty Center is the umbrella organization that publicizes, coordinates, and supports faculty development activities at Farmingdale State College. The Faculty Center advances the College's Mission and its commitment to excellence in teaching and learning by providing interactive faculty development opportunities; supporting technologies that enhance the teaching and learning process; encouraging innovation in pedagogy; and promoting programs and services that assist with course development, instructional delivery, assessment, and scholarship.

Turnitin Tools: A Full Service Pilot at FSC

AI-Plagiarism Detection, and Feedback Studio 

Faculty will have access to the full suite of Turnitin teaching tools inside their Brightspace LMS Classroom. While Turnitin may be best known for its plagiarism detection tool, known as a similarity report, there are more tools available that faculty may consider using.
