The department offers language courses of Arabic, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish. Spanish offers two tracks: general track Spanish (I-III), professional track Spanish for medical personnel, business and law enforcement, as well as Spanish for Heritage Speakers.

Additionally, the department offers MLG courses taught in English, which study worldwide cultures, literatures and cinema.
