BCS 315: Advanced UNIX
This course further develops the knowledge of computer operating systems using UNIX. It will augment the knowledge gained in BCS 215. Topics to be covered include an in-depth examination of the design of the UNIX system, using advanced text processing utilities, advanced Shell programming and an introduction to the setup and administration of UNIX networks. Credits: 3.00
Prerequisite
BCS 215 with a grade of C or better.
